Renowned film composer Hans Zimmer, celebrated for his multiple Academy Awards® and Grammy wins, has announced his highly anticipated return to Australia with his spectacular Hans Zimmer Live tour. Set to take place in April 2025, this marks Zimmer’s first Australian performances since 2019, with shows scheduled in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

This groundbreaking production combines stunning visuals and immersive audio, promising an unforgettable experience for audiences. Zimmer, who previously captivated Coachella in 2017 and completed a sold-out 2024 tour across 17 cities in the US and Canada, will bring his extraordinary talent to Australian stages once again. Accompanied by a 19-piece live band and a full orchestra, Zimmer will take fans on a musical journey through some of his most iconic scores from blockbuster films.

Adding to the excitement, acclaimed Australian singer Lisa Gerrard will join Zimmer onstage. Gerrard, who has collaborated with Zimmer on numerous projects, will perform beloved tracks from films such as Gladiator (which earned her a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination), Mission: Impossible, King Arthur, Black Hawk Down, and Tears of the Sun.

The concert will feature newly arranged suites from Zimmer’s legendary repertoire, including music from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Lion King, The Last Samurai, and Dune—the latter of which earned Zimmer his second Academy Award®.
