Blue Diamond Transfers provides clear, professional pricing with no surge models, no cash handling, and centralised billing for all bookings.
This article explains how pricing is calculated, how payment works, and what is required to make a booking.
How Our Pricing Is Calculated
Pricing is determined at the time of booking based on:
- Pickup and drop-off locations
- Distance and estimated travel time
- Vehicle type selected
- Time and date of travel
- Any special requirements
For many bookings, pricing is fixed or clearly estimated upfront, allowing you to book with confidence.
No Surge Pricing
Blue Diamond Transfers does not operate on a surge pricing model.
This means:
- Prices do not fluctuate based on demand
- You are not competing with other passengers
- Pricing remains predictable and professional
This is particularly important for corporate and executive travel.
Credit Card Requirement (Card on File)
All bookings require a valid credit card to be attached to the account at the time of booking.
Please note:
- We only accept credit cards for standard bookings
- A valid card must be on file to confirm a booking
- Chauffeurs do not accept cash or card payments
This ensures bookings are secured and processed smoothly.
$1 Card Pre-Authorisation at Booking
When a booking is made, a $1 pre-authorisation may be placed on the credit card on file.
This is a temporary verification only, used to:
- Confirm the card is valid
- Secure the booking
- Prevent failed payments after the trip
The $1 pre-authorisation:
- Is not a charge
- Is released automatically by your bank
- Does not affect your final trip price
This is standard industry practice.
When Payment Is Taken
In most cases, payment is processed after the trip has been completed.
This allows:
- Accurate billing based on the completed journey
- Adjustments where applicable (such as waiting time or changes)
- Clear, auditable records for business and personal use
Pre-Payment in Certain Circumstances
We reserve the right to request pre-payment for certain bookings, including:
- New clients without an established booking history
- High-value bookings
- Weddings, special events, or extended hourly services
If pre-payment is required, this will be clearly communicated prior to confirmation.
Corporate Billing & Prepaid Invoice Accounts
For approved corporate customers, prepaid invoice accounts may be available.
Please note:
- Prepaid invoice accounts are by request and approval only
- Eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis
- Conditions apply
These accounts are designed for organisations with regular, structured travel requirements and approved billing arrangements.
If you believe your organisation may be eligible, our team can discuss available options.
What You Will Receive After the Trip
Once your trip is completed:
- Payment is processed automatically
- A receipt or tax invoice is issued
- Booking records are stored within your account
Corporate customers can access reporting and historical booking data where applicable.
Waiting Time & Additional Charges
In some cases, additional charges may apply, such as:
- Extended waiting time beyond what is included
- Additional stops or route changes requested during the trip
Any applicable charges are applied based on actual usage and in accordance with our booking terms.
No Cash, No Card Handling, No Driver Payments
For clarity:
- Chauffeurs do not accept cash or card payments
- Chauffeurs do not negotiate pricing
- All billing is handled centrally
This ensures a consistent, professional experience.
Transparency You Can Rely On
If you have questions about pricing or billing:
- Our team is available to assist
- Invoices clearly reference each booking
- Card requirements and billing conditions are disclosed upfront
Professional transport should be predictable — and that’s exactly how our pricing works.
