How to Book a Trip Using the Blue Diamond Passenger App

The Blue Diamond Passenger App allows you to book a professional chauffeur service in just a few simple steps. This guide walks you through the booking flow exactly as it appears in the app, so you know what to expect at each stage.


Step 1: Open the App & Choose Your Booking Type

When you open the app, you’ll see the map view with nearby available vehicles.

At the bottom of the screen:

  • Select Point to Point for a standard transfer
  • (If available) select Hourly for chauffeur hire by the hour

Tap “Where to?” to begin.


Step 2: Enter Your Destination

In the Where to? field:

  • Start typing your destination address, or
  • Select a saved place such as Home or Work

Once selected, confirm the destination by tapping Confirm drop off.


Step 3: Confirm Your Pickup Location

Next, confirm your pickup location:

  • The app will suggest your current location, or
  • You can adjust the pin or search for a different address

Once correct, tap Confirm pickup.

Accurate pickup details help ensure a smooth and timely collection.


Step 4: Choose Timing (Now or Scheduled)

You can book:

  • Now (ASAP) for immediate dispatch, or
  • A scheduled date and time using the calendar option

For ASAP bookings, please ensure you are ready for prompt pickup before proceeding.


Step 5: Select Your Vehicle Type

You’ll then see available vehicle options, such as:

  • Executive Sedan
  • Premium Sedan
  • Other available categories (depending on location)

Each option displays:

  • Passenger capacity
  • Estimated arrival time
  • Price for the trip

Select the vehicle that best suits your needs.


Step 6: Review Payment Method

Your selected payment method will be shown before requesting the booking.

Please note:

  • A valid credit card must be attached to your account
  • A $1 pre-authorisation may be used to verify the card
  • Payment is generally processed after the trip is completed

Chauffeurs do not accept payment directly.


Step 7: Request the Booking

Once everything looks correct, tap Request.

What happens next:

  • Your booking is dispatched automatically
  • You’ll receive status updates in the app
  • Your chauffeur’s progress can be tracked in real time

For ASAP bookings, dispatch occurs immediately.


During the Trip

During an active booking:

  • Keep your phone switched on
  • Check app notifications and messages
  • Respond promptly if contacted

Your chauffeur may message you using our secure in-app messaging system to confirm pickup details.


After the Trip: Activity History

Once your trip is completed, it will appear in your Activity History, showing:

  • Date and time
  • Pickup location
  • Booking reference
  • Final fare

This makes it easy to review past trips or reference a booking if needed.


Important Things to Know

  • Bookings cannot currently be edited directly in the app
  • Changes must be requested via our team
  • Only the named passenger or account holder can make changes
