What Happens After You Make a Booking

Once your booking with Blue Diamond Transfers is confirmed, our systems and operations team begin preparing your trip to ensure a smooth and reliable experience.

This article explains exactly what happens between booking confirmation and pickup on the day of travel.


Booking Confirmation

After you complete your booking, you will receive a confirmation notification with your booking details, including:

  • Pickup and drop-off locations
  • Date and time of travel
  • Vehicle type
  • Passenger details

At this stage:

  • Your booking is secured in our system
  • No payment is taken
  • No action is required from you unless details need updating

Automated Chauffeur Dispatch

Your booking is placed into our automated dispatch system, which assigns trips to suitable professional chauffeurs within our network based on:

  • Location
  • Vehicle type
  • Availability
  • Trip requirements

Our operations team actively monitors this process and can step in if needed to ensure coverage.


Trip Preparation

As your travel date approaches, we prepare your trip by reviewing key details.

For airport transfers, this includes:

  • Monitoring your flight using the provided flight number
  • Adjusting pickup timing if your flight is early or delayed

For all bookings:

  • Pickup instructions are confirmed
  • Vehicle and timing requirements are checked
  • Special requests are noted

Chauffeur Assignment & Notifications

Once a chauffeur is assigned:

  • The chauffeur receives your booking details
  • You may receive updated information closer to pickup time
  • Communication is limited to trip-related matters only

For privacy and security, chauffeurs do not contact passengers unnecessarily.


On the Day of Travel

On the day of your booking:

  • Your chauffeur arrives at the scheduled pickup location on time
  • For airport pickups, the chauffeur positions themselves according to airport regulations
  • Assistance with luggage is provided
  • The journey is completed as booked

If you are travelling to or from an airport, flight tracking helps ensure appropriate arrival timing.


During the Trip

Your transfer is:

  • Private
  • Direct
  • Professionally managed

If assistance is required during the trip, our operations team is available to support both passengers and chauffeurs.


After the Trip Is Completed

Once your trip is completed:

  • The booking is marked as completed in our system
  • Payment is processed securely after the journey
  • Receipts and invoices are made available where applicable

You never need to pay the chauffeur directly.


If Plans Change

If you need to:

  • Modify your booking
  • Update passenger details
  • Change pickup times or locations

This can be done in advance by contacting us or managing your booking through the app, subject to our policies.
